Increasing staff numbers was causing toilet queues. The British love to queue, but this was the wrong type of queue, so we built some more toilets for our office.
To celebrate the completion of the new office toilet facilities and the commissioning of this shiny new porcelain palace of personal hygiene, we twinned our new loos with a latrine block at a school in Marhalla, Bihar, India.
Toilet Twinning is a charity that raises money in a novel way but with a serious aim: to bring safe, sustainable, sanitary toilet facilities to communities in developing nations through a community-led program. Find out more at toilettwinning.org.
