The WPS engine for Netezza connects to a Netezza database using the ODBC API.
Dependencies and Usage
The WPS Engine for Netezza can only be used on the supported platforms indicated in the table below.
* For use on AIX on System p (POWER), Linux on x86, Solaris on x86 and Solaris on SPARC platforms, you will also need to obtain a third party ODBC driver and manager and an appropriate Netezza ODBC driver.
** For use on macOS, the operating system is supplied with an ODBC administrator. However, you will need to obtain a Netezza ODBC driver from the database supplier.
*** For use on Windows, the operating system is supplied with an ODBC administrator. However, you will need to obtain a Netezza ODBC driver from the database supplier.
